Don’t Drink … Gamble!

If you like to have a cocktail every so often, keep your money at home if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Clean out your evening bag, your money belt, and leave all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Only take whatever cash you intend to use on refreshments, tips and only the pocket change you intend to throw away and leave the rest behind.

Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You might have a profit after a drunken night out with your compatriots and be blessed enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a on fire craps game. Hang on to that story seeing that it is as short-lived as it gets if you consistently consume alcohol and gamble. The two simply do not go well together.

Leaving your moolah out of the casino might be a tiny bit drastic, but precautionary measures for excessive behavior is required. If you bet to profit, then do not drink and bet. If you like to blow your assets nary a concern, then consume all the gratuitous beer your stomach are able to handle, but do not carry credit cards and checks to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your inebriated self throws away everything!

Permit me to take this a single step further. Don’t drink and then hop on the internet to wager in your preferred internet casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my house, however since I’m linked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink and bet.

Why? Even though I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I consume alcohol, it’s absolutely sufficient to cloud my judgment. I bet, so I don’t drink alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, do not gamble at the same time. Both create a ferocious, and expensive, drink.
